1. ADVERTISING
If any form of advertising is used to recruit staff it will reflect:
• The responsibilities of the role
• The level of experience or qualifications required
• The RFU/RFUW stance on child protection
2. APPLICATIONS
All adults who are in contact with young people, whether paid or voluntary, will complete and application form. After a position has been offered the person must complete a CRB application form. Until the CRB certificate has been received that person must not work unsupervised.
3. TRAINING
Appropriate training will enable individuals to recognize their responsibilities with regard to their own good practice and the reporting of poor practice or concerns of possible abuse.
